Candidate statement

Occupation: Business Owner

It has truly been an honor to serve as your appointed City Councilmember. Angels Camp has been my home for many years and is where my husband and I raised our family. I care deeply about the people who live here and preserving the small-town character that makes our community special.

For 27 years, my husband and I have owned and operated a local roofing company, giving me firsthand experience with the challenges facing small businesses, working families, and our local economy. My professional experience working for Calaveras County, along with volunteering and service on local boards, has strengthened my commitment to listening, problem solving, accountability, and responsible use of public resources.

As City Councilmember, I have helped approve a balanced budget while advancing important capital improvement projects. I also represent Angels Camp on the Calaveras Local Agency Formation Commission, working with local leaders on public services, planning, and responsible growth.

If elected I will continue focusing on sound financial decisions, roads and infrastructure, public safety, local businesses, and thoughtful economic growth while protecting the values and traditions that make Angels Camp home. I would be honored to earn your vote and continue serving with honesty, transparency, and dedication.
